David Reichert
How can I make an e-sign secure? The esign has a social security number so I want to make sure it is secure. I tried to password protect on Nitro pro and sent to e-sign, but it wouldn't let me. It says "The file you are working with is a secured document and not supported" Nitro Cloud also doesn't allow me to password protect on that app.

Official Nitronaut Smita S- Nitro Cloud PM Posted July 7, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted July 7, 2020 Hi @David Reichert, Thanks for participating in our community forum. Nitro Sign supports Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to provide additional security on documents that are sent for signature. If 2FA is enabled for a signature request, the document will be restricted and require a password for access. 2FA can be set up using either an access code (password) or via SMS with an auto-generated password. Detailed steps on setting 2FA on signature requests can be found below: 2 Factor Authentication using Access Code 2 Factor Authentication using SMS. Please note that 2-Factor Authentication is only available to members of our enterprise plan. Thanks for choosing Nitro Sign, and please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything further that we can help with.
