Stamps Rotating on their own in Nitro Pro 12

I have a user with a document that has several pages in it that are of mixed orientation (some portrait, some landscape). They are applying a stamp to each page in the document and when they place the stamp on certain pages all of the stamps placed on previous pages rotate 90 degrees. We cannot rotate the stamps back to their original orientation. It appears to happen on pages that were created from a scanned document and rotated in Nitro.

The work-around I've been using is to extract those troublesome pages into individual PDFs, apply the stamp, then add them back to the original document.
