Nitro Cloud is a browser-based online e-singing and document collaboration platform.

As much as I would like to assist you with your concern, this is not yet possible at the moment. We are always looking to improve Nitro Pro that is why customer’s feedback are important to us.

I also need to be able to add text or fill in a field on a cloud template before sending out for signature.  Without this, the template feature is almost useless to us.

Thank you for participating in our Community Forum and providing your feedback.

Although Nitro Sign doesn't currently support saving placeholder fields for the sender while creating a template, you can add the sender's fields (including signature, text, date etc) to the document while sending a signature request through a template. We definitely see the value in being able to save the sender's fields on a document which would be populated while sending the document and have added this requested improvement to our backlog.
