jvk
A Windows 10 update crashed my PC and required a clean install resulting in Nitro Pro v9 purchased in 10-29-2014 being erased. How can I reinstall this version which continued to meet my meager needs? I do have license info available.

jvk
Thank you very much for your help. I tried to activate the new copy, but when I went to Help > About Nitro Pro > Activate, the only option offered was to Deactivate, so I guess all is well. I am a bit concerned that it didn't ever ask for my license. Do I need to do anything else, like Deactivate and then Reactivate?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted June 22, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted June 22, 2018 Hello @jvk, Thanks for your patience. This could be caused by traces of Nitro Pro in the registries. To address this issue, please try these steps: 1. Download our Clean Up utility: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686 2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip) 3. Run the utility. 4. Reboot your machine 5. Manually check for left over registries from Nitro Pro (Run > regedit) and delete them. Make sure to save a backup before making any change. Reboot the machine again after deleting Nitro Pro traces. 6. Download, install and activate your Nitro Pro 9 using previous steps I provided you. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
