Code Numpty
I have users certifying PDF files and alongside the signature they are now getting a little icon of a man with a question mark. I am not aware of any changes having been made. What does this mean & how can we get rid of it? Edited July 17, 2017 by Code Numpty
Power User Steven Zakulec Posted July 17, 2017 Power User Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 This icon shows up with signed documents in a particular situation: You can find this on page 231 of the Nitro 11 User's Guide, or in the online version here: http://guide.gonitro.com/articles/view-and-validate-certificates-and-signatures/ Hopefully that helps a little- if there's something else I can help you with, let me know (or you can always contact support- https://www.gonitro.com/support/ticket). I am not sure what is meant by "and the current view of the document is not the same as when it was signed". Please clarify.
Official Nitronaut Eli R. Posted July 18, 2017 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 Hi Code, "The current view of the document is not the same as when it was signed" means that there was some changes/additions/subtractions/edits made to the document, after the Digital Signature was placed there. This particular icon is showing that the Digital Signature was not validated initially and has had changes made to it after being added to the PDF file. Cheers!
