Power User Steven Zakulec Posted March 16, 2017 Power User Report Share Posted March 16, 2017 There are a number of options here, but most them of focus on only allowing intended recipients to read the document, not keeping people from ever getting a copy of the file. The most basic level of protection is the Password security options- there's one for opening a PDF (without the password you can't open it) and one for editing/printing (you can define what the acceptable changes/print usage is for the document, and to go beyond that requires a password). Here's the details on that: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/answers/Nitro Pro/000001668 Next, you have certificate based security- http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/answers/Nitro Pro/000001610 This lets you do the same things as password-based security, but uses certificates to authenticate people and grant them access accordingly. Finally, you have RMS- which is Microsoft's Rights Management Service. This is definitely closer to enterprise level than the other options. In this case, you're using integration provided by Nitro. More details on this one here: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/answers/Nitro Pro/000001587\ Hopefully one of these provides what you're looking for.
